Nicky Fallon has over 30 years of experience working in both mainstream and special school settings. During her career in education she has had a variety of roles ranging from Class Teacher, Foundation Stage Leader, Assistant and Deputy Head.
Her experience in education has led her to be a true advocate for inclusion and in her latest role as Deputy Head and SENCO she has applied this philosophy as an Attachment and Mental Health Lead within the Rose Learning Trust.
During the last 8 years she has developed her expertise and knowledge around the social and emotional needs of pupils through becoming an Attachment Lead, Thrive and Nurture group practitioner as well as expanding her knowledge on therapeutic interventions. The impact of this is evidenced though out the school as behaviour is seen as a communication and the power of relationships is truly understood.
As the Mental Health Lead for the Rose Learning Trust she has recently driven forward their participation in the Leeds Carnegie Mental Health Award, supporting other schools whilst ensuring that Mental Health remains a priority for the trust as a whole.
